Chinchilla finishes up new album

CHINCHILLA just finished recordings for their fourth album, Madtropolis“ in the House Of Music Studios, Germany. Produced by the band and Achim Köhler, CHINCHILLA managed to record eleven songs of pure joy that range from melodic ballads to pure and powerful HEAVY Metal!

The band got visited in the studio by legendary ex-MOTÖRHEAD guitar player Fast Eddie Clarke who played an awesome solo for the song “When The Sand Darkens The Sun”. “We got in touch with him during our tour with Paul Di Anno”, CHINCHILLA guitarist Udo Gerstenmeyer explains. “By the end of last year we just sent him an e-mail with our request and he was straight in for it. It was so easy. Eddie is such a nice guy and the solo he played is awesome!” release.
