Vinnie Moore and Jason Bonham Join UFO
Along with Phil Mogg, Pete Way and Paul Raymond, band to enter studio in September.
Guitarist extraordinaire Vinnie Moore has now officially joined UFO as the replacement for Michael Schenker. Moore will reportedly join the rest of the group - vocalist Phil Mogg, bassist Pete Way, keyboardist Paul Raymond and drummer Jason Bonham - at an undisclosed studio in September to begin work on the band's next album, tentatively due next summer. UFO were previously in talks with former EUROPE/DOKKEN guitarist John Norum to replace Schenker, but eventually decided to look elsewhere while Norum continued work on his upcoming solo album. Jason Bonham, son of legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, has released several albums with his own band (Bonham) and has been the subject of many rumours about his possible involvement in a Led Zeppelin reunion.
